At the Tire Shop .... - 02/08/06 04:39 AM

Was on duty at the FD the other day, and had to take one of our ambulances to the tire shop to troubleshoot the front end.
While I was waiting for the mechanic to finalize the estimate, I happened to look up, and noticed white Sched. 40 PVC pipe... that ran into a 12 x 12 x 4 junction box with no cover.
No fittings, just pushed through the K.O.
While "looking for service" on my phone, I must have accidentally snapped this pic, which shows the next J box down the line. It too was missing the cover plate, which showed low voltage signal wires, possibly mixed with a pair of larger wires (12awg? 10awg?).
Guess it goes to show that, like the firefighter, the electrician never really goes "off duty".
