Now there was a bird (or mouse) that knew how to protect the nest from snakes---and it looks like a rattlesnake at that!

How big was the opening?

I see the load side lugs are empty, but before this was discovered was there a meter in place? If so, it might be the heat from the potential coil that attracted the snake, but looks like it got more heat than it bargained for [Linked Image]

I want to know the insulation type. I bet it's suitable for wet locations.
