Stay out of the garage and work on the Harley.

The property taxes on a canvas tarp are much less than a building.

Yup, the garage can be addressed on bad weather days after the motorcycle is up and running. By the way, sometime would be spent finding a transmission and primary. [Linked Image]

Sorry to be the only dissenter, but as I have just about zero interest in motorcycles (Harley or otherwise) I'd be rewiring the garage.

Now if that were something like a '58 Plymouth Fury it would be another matter. [Linked Image]

I did the 71 Triumph Spitfire first, does that count?

A house is always worth more than that rusty piece of greasy junk.

Rewire the garage first.

That way you have a safe place to store your rusty motorcycle. [Linked Image]

So Joe,

Where are the pictures of the restored motorcycle?

Since it has be 24 years did you ever get around to the garage?

Actually, I sold the motorcycle and moved away from Malboro, NJ, so I am not sure if the garage was ever rewired. In fact, I think that there is a shopping center there now.

For those who can appreciate the magic, I am sure there would be many who would have paid the $350.00 I got for the MC. It is probably worth around $2,500 restored.

Maybe when I retire i'll find one waiting in the garage?

Any old MC is worth the restoration effort, except some, and only a true restorer would know what I mean.

Your trying to make yourself feel better, it would be worth much more than that. [Linked Image]
