To work as an electrician in BC, you will need a BC trades qualification in electrical. Your english trades papers will allow you to challenge the exam here, I recommend that you take a code course as the terminology and wire sizes are different. Courses are available through BCIT., University College of the Fraser Valley, Surrey school district.

there is a good doc I found called the 'canadian code course' that the guy from the learning pit wrote up ..it is based on the 2002 code which is what I wrote my exam on ....I could email it if you like?

that would be great. i was thinking ofd sitting the code course before doing the challenge exam, so any extra info would be usefull, as i have to wait till the fall term now.

my email is: scottidam@hotmail.com

thanks
