Hey there I am a new contractor and I am having some problems with customers doing there own wiring and then calling me to add a subpanel to feed it or add a larger service and wanting it to be inspected.I don't mind my work being inspected but these customers have covered up their work. Would an inspector not want to see what they have done or can I pull a permit just for what I am doing? Thanks for any help you can offer.

Also one of the customers in question ran all his wires to a small closet he built for his furnace. There is about a foot and a half width and 3 or 4 feet of depth available.I'm pretty sure a subpanel would not be allowed in there.Am I correct?

1 meter clearance in front of electrical Equipment comes to mind. In other words enough room for a full sized Man and tool pouch. I wouldn't even be able to fit side ways and thats without a pouch. [Linked Image]
