Just recieved a set of plans for plan review.
In the submitals was sheet calling for the use of "teck 90" cable.
All I have been able to find on this cable is some Canadian standards and some references to the CEC.
Exactly what is it ans can it be used in the US. If so, what section of the code regulates it use..

Rules 12-602 to 12-618 apply only to armoured cable work.
Rationale and Intent for Rule 12-600.
Because of its flexibility, the armoured cable method may be used for concealed work, and where appearance is not a concern, it may be used for exposed work.
The metal armour sheath, made of either steel or aluminum strip, provides mechanical protection for the insulated conductors.
The cable armour or cables incorporating an internal copper or aluminum strip that is in contact with the armour does not constitute a bonding conductor (see Rule 10-510(2).)
Cables with aluminum armour have the letters “AL” indented or embossed in the armour.
