Anyone taken the class offered at Worthington University? It sounds great and I am excited to get into this stuff.They might be having one on the east coast in December and I am planning on attending.

Check out worthingtondist.com and look at university. It is a 4 day seminar on home integration that is not one manufactuer specific. I have taken some of their FREE online courses and I recommend them. They are also a great resource for information on this stuff. As well as a distributer.

Yes, I use them alot for buying my low-volt material. I'm wating on an order right now BTW. I have been to the trainig and it is a great class.

Beammeup, thanks great to hear that. Do you find much luck in marketing for intergrated homes. I think if there is a way of getting to the end user and not the builder it would be very lucrative.

BobbyHo, it's not hard to sell homeautomation systems in the Pacific Northwest where I do most of my installs. I don't do any advertising and I am still booked for the next few years. Most of my jobs I get from referals from friends of previous clients or contractors that see my work. Most of the jobs I do take 1-2 years or longer to complete. Plus they are allways T&M jobs

You should try selling it up here in the northeast. I think homeowners would go for it but builders, they are uninformed about the stuff and seem to not be really interested. I would prefer to do this stuff rather than scratch and claw for a service change or "win a bid" doing a new house.
