Anybody remember ever seeing bumper stickers that read."Wiring is not a hobby.Use a licensed electrical contractor"or something like that.Looking for something like those for my trucks.My local electrical suppier used to have some but doesn't any more.Anyone have any idea's where to look?My local contractors association does not either.(thought they should have some)

Try your local Homebuilders Association. Ours used to have bumper stickers like that. One said, "Make welfare as hard to get as building permits". "Measure twice, cut once, then call a carpenter".

Andy, you could go to a print shop (Fast Signs) and they can make you any sticker you want. I had them print me up some "208 Volt High Leg" stickers to put on my clip boards, in the cab of my truck, and 3 phase delta panels. I "smoked" a computer 2 years ago on a high leg and made the stickers as a constant reminder so hopefully I will never do it again.

I presume that was a computer that had a rare (cheap) 120-volt only power supply, or had the switch in the 120 volt position. All the good power supplies these days are auto-ranging from 100 to 250 volts, 50 or 60 Hz, and sold in all world markets.

I know MECA has those stickers all you have to do is join MECA.
