National Electric Safety Code - 11/02/04 03:55 AM
A residential property, one owner with a few buildings. The meter at the transformer, separate from the buildings. There will be three service laterals to three bldgs., each with a main disconnect in the building. There is no disconnect/circuit breaker on the lateral at the meter.
There are a couple smaller buildings fed from one of the main buildings.
I believe this is all OK by the NEC. Does the NESC say anything different?
I had a sort of similar situation last year where the utility (NiMo) required us to provide a disconnect at the meter/transformer for each lateral.
