A customer has rented space in a single story building with 3 spaces. Each space has 1600 sq. ft. and is seperated by a lathe and plaster wall. His architect says the seperating walls have a 4 hour fire rating and the space can be wired with romex. Any thoughts on this?
thanks

I would check with the AHJ for the area.

With the exception of an assembly area, you should be fine with type NM cable.

As NEsaprky said, though, check with the AHJ

Also keep in mind that if there will be a dropped ceiling, NM cable would not be allowed above the ceiling as open runs.

I called the AHJ and romex it is. No dropped ceiling but thank you for the reminder.
