What is out there to protect a 50A 240V camper male cord cap?

I would can the one that came with the camper for a nice pin & sleeve unit, but that would negate usage in all the KOA's etc.

what are you guys installing?

thanx

Sorry: "Protect" in what context? Could you 'splain more? Prevent damage when not in use? How about one of those Hubbell yellow-plastic PlugOut clamsehll things?

The camper 'receptacle' will be a UG circuit to a 6x6 PT post.

As 'wheatherproof' is a NE oxymoron, i'm merely fishin' here Bjarney...was iz dis 'clamshell'??

Sparky — See http://www.hubbell-wiring.com/library/Section-U.pdf page 3 catalog no. HLD2

[I think I was in left field in my original reply to you.]

Maybe a better suggestion is page 3 catalog no. PAK55C: http://www.squared.com/us/products/...d3b85256c00006003a1/$FILE/1140CT9201.pdf

Another vendor is Midwest Electric.

I've a midwest 'clamshell' in the chicken coop for the heat lamps!

I guess it's been a day here Bjarney, thanks for posting the obvious
