Can anyone here tell me if they have seen a top opening rain tight trough. As near as I can make out I cannot use a front opening trough to connect three inch raceways to a panel unless the raceways enter from the back of the trough so as to enter opposite the cover. At least one of the raceways will be filled to near it's permissible fill. I was hoping to use a three foot trough to permit me to spread the feeder conductors from a single three inch PVC conduit into one panel and one smaller PVC conduit.

The ground work on this job was done by the general contractor and he used three inch raceway for everything. The cost of twenty four inch rain tight boxes is very high compared to the cost of trough but so far I can only find front opening rain tight trough.

Long Shot -- You might mean LJB- or LDRB-series at http://www.squared.com/us/products/busway.nsf/0/e983edf76566ed2c85256abe0067b3b2/$FILE/5100HO0101.pdf
