1999 NEC 350-5 prohibits use of FMC in battery storage rooms. We have a project that was done 2-years ago and it used FMC on an inverter with storage batteries near by.
The batteries are not in a room. It is a large open area for telephone equipment. It is our belief that the above NEC rule does not apply.
