Is there a minimum height for circuit breakers or switches (not including ADA requirements) in your locale?
Also, in a residential garage or basement with exposed studs, is there any minimum height requirement for exposed romex--assuming some possibility for physical damage?
The reason why I ask these questions is that I was told a long long time ago to keep the bottom breaker, as well as any exposed romex, 4' above the floor..but I see both of these guiding principles violated on a regular basis.
