I've found that using the sticky index tabs on the edges of the pages for the beginning of most sections, key articles and tables in the book help speed things up considerably. They put an end to thumbing through the book when trying to locate a particular code reference. Just curious, do any of you use these tabs also?

Being the tightwad that I am, I didn't buy the ones for the purpose of putting in the NEC that are pre-labelled by Article # and description...

I opted to go to Wal-Mart and get various colored Scotch tabs and write on them what I want...

But they are very helpful in speeding up the hunting process!

I have meant to order these many times. I also have reasoned that by not having them, I regularly stumble across interesting information that I am not looking for at the time. The down side is, I must have ADD, because, I usually become engrossed in these other articles, and don't get back on track for some time.

Agreed!

I had a boss that told me this continually.
