I am going to look into 840

Without looking the 840 stuff sounds like design issues. Why would you need to disconnect a wireless network? Would not a system shutdown accomplish this?

I looked through the ROP, I don't have the draft.
Most of the proposals are about Optical Network Terminals. I didn't see anything about routers and wireless but I was starting to not care anymore
Reading the ROP is pretty dry stuff.
Sort of like that 20 page thing you get from the bank every year or so (or that pile of sticks in the back yard).
You never know what's in either of them until it jumps up and bites you on the butt.
