Shall I install a GFCI receptacle within 6 ft from sink other than dwelling unit? NEC said that regulation about GFCI receptacle within 6 ft from sink is confined only for dwelling unit.

Thanks.
This requirement is for Dwelling units and does not apply to commercial or any other occupancy.
However, you should check to see if there are any local requirements or if the Owner is expecting one to be installed.

In any event, IF you do install one, you need to provide GFCI protection for it.
If we are talking a kitchen sink - What Ghost307 says is correct. If it is some other area you might not be required to install a receptacle or GFCI protect it.
All 120v 15a&20a receptacles in a commercial kitchen are required to be GFCI protected.
