I've noticed that the NFPA created a National Electrical Code for The City of New York, based on the 2002 NEC.

I've contacted the NFPA and N.Y.C. Buildings Department, but to no avail, no returned emails.

What I wanted to know, is if anyone knows if the NFPA created a N.Y.C. book based on the 2005 NEC, or if anyone works in the N.Y.C. area and knows about it.

Thank you.

Yeah, I saw that page the other day. What I wanted to know if the NFPA created a book for it, just like this one:
http://www.constructionbook.com/xq/ASP/ProductID.4238/id.377/subID.774/qx/default2.htm

but based on the 2005 NEC.

Thanks.

There is no compiled NYC electric Code that I know of. The NYC electric code involves you having to have a copy of the 2002 NEC and the list of amendments in Local Law 81. http://www.nyc.gov/html/dob/downloads/pdf/sec4a_ll_81_2003.pdf
