I was surfing around and ran across this site. They make some interesting cover plates. I particularly took notice of the combination plates that are made for both Decora and traditional duplex outlets and switches in the same plate. I am not affiliated with this site in any way. I just thought that it may be of interest to some.

Hmm, there are a few neat looking ones there.. I really like that note at the bottom--> " Is your outlet on the other side??? just flip it over."
Priceless!!

They musta gotten a lot of call ins saying something like "I thought I ordered a plate with the receptacle outlet on the right, but the one I received is on the left. Can I exchange it?"

Looks like a lot of Mulberry Metals items. They are in Union, NJ, as I previously posted for a 4 gang FS cover for someone. I used to see a lot of wierd combo plates that were special orders; tog/recept/tog; duplex/single/toggle/single; block/duplex/tog/single/block, etc.
Mulberry would 'special' anything you could possibly come up with. Materials from base tin, to solid (real) brass; stainless, all grades, mag & non-mag; plastic; wood; lexan
and a ton of 'decorator' finishes.

http://www.electrical-supply.net/customColors.asp If it wasn't for a cost factor and grounding issue I think it would be cool for a company to use the same color boxes. I'd like the cridical blue 1900's.
How do you feel about plastic. The Carlon boxes are about that color blue.
No indoor plastic here. All steel and EMT. Some outside has to be RMC. If we had the truck stocked with plastic & NM we would probibly save some weight and gas.
