Can you run a 208 single phase motor of this 240/120D 3 phase service?

I have always heard you shouldn't run L/N loads on a wild leg unless it was a real 3 transformer delta. It is supposed to screw up the voltage across the open side compared to the closed side.

You need to look at the motor name plate. If
the motor is rate 208/240 its ok. If not you may need to install a bucking transformer.
