Recently had a discussion about the need to tie all equipment ground wires together in the same box. I seem to remember a thread about this, but I could not find it.

Do all EGCs in 1 box need to be tied together?

What if you have different circuits (IE: a #12 circuit and a #14) in the same box?

Question was concerning residental, with NM boxes, and NM cable.

Thanks

250.148 ('02 NEC) seems to imply that all EGCs be tied together.
However 250-148 ('99 NEC) is much more direct in that they all do need to be tied together.
That is what I do.

Re 250.148

It appears all EGCs need to be connected to a metal box, hence together too(A).
That is a little less clear in an NM box(B).
