We were wiring up a hot tub that had some years on it. It could be wired for 120VAC or 240VAC. The homeowner had bought it used, and it was wired for 120V. So we wired it for that. Everything worked except for the small bubbles comming out of the seat, and the heating element. Anyone have any suggestions? We put and amp probe on most of the wires we could access, and were reading 2VAC on almost all of them. My idea was that perhaps it was a bad XFRMR. Any ideas?

you will have to tear into it and get voltages on the other side of the xformer. or if 2 v is off the load side, then ya there's a problem.
