Not a Code violation unless exposed to physical damage.
Also refer to Section 250.118(6) Lengths over six feet MUST have a grounding conductor.

Always run a grounded conductor.
Just having a discussion with my leadman and he thinks we should run EMT in walls. Without ripping away walls Flex should be legal to run. He swears that in our enviroment flex shouldnt be used. I cant find anything that says we cant.

EMT (Thinwall) is allowed to be fished without couplings.

unbroken lengths (without coupling) of EMT shall be permitted to be fished.

How exactly is the EMT supposed to be held together without couplings?

EMT is 10' long top plate to bottom plate(wall interior) is less than 8' no coupling concealed.
