Nice webpage, Kenny. I'll never forget 9/11. I lost a good friend who I used to share Jets season tickets with. He was a Port Authority cop and was last heard from calling his wife from the 14th floor of the south tower. May he rest in peace.

The sign reads:

I will never forget 9/11, and all the departed people, and all the heroes. The altered skyline that I see every day may never be as it was pre-9/11, except in my memory, and some personal photographs.

May they all rest in peace.

Yes indeed, I can't see my skyline the same anymore. It's definitely missing something. Regardless of the new building they are making, it's just not the same. Born and raised in NYC, to this very day I cry when I see pictures of the twin towers and videos on T.V.

When we are out in the boat and I see a 767 lining up for the outer marker at RSW, sometimes it is in exactly the same banking turn UAL175 was in when I watched it hit the south tower on TV that terrible morning.
I always get a little shivver.

Good call, mate.
I remember waking up at 4:30 that morning to the radio on my Alarm Clock.
It woke me up like few things have since.
I thought I must have been still half-asleep, alas no I was awake.
May all that fell in that incident be remembered as they were. [Linked Image]

May those whose lives were taken by the criminal element be remembered always and their honor never tainted for being who and where they were. May all the negative that has stemmed from the acts against these people and our country be rendered powerless in the end result except to strengthen the good that exists.

May the families and friends be blessed with comfort and solace in some small measure by all of us carrying the sorrow along with them.

... The events of 9/11/01 have changed my life forever...I pray for all of those innocents whose lives were lost for no reason at all...and for the families and friends that they left behind..I hope to God we never see such horrors again...
