Do you mean Utility Distribution power poles, low voltage temporary power poles [eg. 120/240 1 ph. 3 wire], or the power poles used in Offices [Receptacles and LAN Data / Comm outlets]?

For Medium and High Voltage Cable / Conductor data, check out one of the many Electrical Engineering manuals or standard handbooks which are available at your local Library [or tech bookstores].

Article 225 gives some guidelines, but you would most likely find the "National Electrical Safety Code" a much better reference. There is a lot of material in the "American Electricians Handbook" as well as the "Lineman and Cablemens Handbook" all usually available from Amazon.com or Borders, same place now days. The NESC is the code reference BTW
