Client wants a wall of the conference room to be dedicated to computer monitor screens. He wants a continuous wall of monitors, in which you can't visually detect the end of one monitor and the beginning of the next. Or one really big one where the RGB (computer monitor signal) image from several computers can be quadrantized on the screen.

Any ideas?
Would this be a VDV question ....?

I think this would be a specialty area. There are people who do this kind of work. Typically it wouldn't be electricians.

Scott,
You would be surprised to see how many electricians are doing low voltage work and voice/data/video work. Here is one idea I had with four plasmas split in quads. http://www.rgb.com/en/Products/ViewProducts.asp?nav=AudioVisual&group=VideoWalls http://www.rgb.com/en/Products/ViewProduct.asp?product=SuperView3000&nav=AudioVisual

Dunno Ron. I agree that many are doing voice, data and video wiring but few are actually into the hardware end. This is a specialized area quite different from electrical contracting. Those that are (and do it well) have separate "divisions" with separate trucks and technicians trained to do the work.

One big problem is that the skills of one area do not easily translate to the other when hiring employees. Maybe you are like me and have experience in all of these areas but try to find a helper or tech with that all around experience.
