Doug Wells was saying to me earlier this evening about not being able to get into ECN here.
I checked this out and when I tried to log in myself, I was hit by a barrage of Pop-up ads and a site that called itself Electrical-Contractor.net, offering free sites.
I also note that the page I'm looking at now has no pictures on it.
If however this is a malicious attempt to bring the ECN server down, I would like to see that those responsible were punished accordingly!.

Another thing, was that both Doug and I got a 404 Error and we were told that the site couldn't be found.
I've just got back in here now and personally, I'm peeved!.
What could cause this Bill?.

I'm having pop ups too, and the chat room is not all right.

hum very strange indeed I was having a bit of a restless night and after a couple attemps i got back in here.

Things are working fine now.

I can't say that I've seen this happen before and I'm here more often than not!.
If this gets worse it's going to be a problem.

For some weird reason the Chat-room doesn't load either.

All goes well from here now, I'm in the chat room, but I must say, if it is really free, we have nothing to complain of.

This has to do with the FREE website services. I thought it would be good to offer this to Members, but the downside is that to make it work all traffic to Electrical-Contractor.net must go to someone elses server first and then re-directed to ours. This happens in a fraction of a second and no one is even aware of it.

The problem I'm told is that there was a duplicate entry in their DNS Server that was causing problems. They say it's fixed now.(knocking Wood here)
