What is the best way to install low voltage undercabinet lighting?
Do you install a transformer under each cabinet or can you set a transformer on top of the upper cabinet and run exposed LV cable down below the cabinet.
I'm looking at the easiest way to connect the lights with limited 120V cables being connected under the cabinet and having a wod of cable being exposed?

What brand of LV lighting are you using?

I have installed the transformers either above the cabinets or in the basement hanging on a joist.

Run NM-B from output to hole thru reveal in bottom of cabinet and then change to LV cable in a thin Wiremold box.

Try to keep your runs from Xfmr as short as possible. Mount it in the middle of a long run instead of one end.

Use fixtures with integrated transformers.
