As a former NYS resident, I find that incredible, how in the world did they miss out on that one, they have regulated everything else, must have slipped that one past Mario 'the Pious'.

Each locality can set their own rules and fee schedule. I've heard something like 27 different Licenses needed to cover Long Island alone. (???) Maybe someone else can confirm or correct that number. There are some County and Township Licenses and then there are special ones needed for a number of small areas.

Bill,

In the State of Pennsysvania it is quite the same. Most locations seem to mandate licensing requirements. However, they are all not exactly the same.
