Welcome Zappy. There's a lot of smart folks here, and you've come to the right place if you want to learn.

I've learned more in a year here than 20 in the field.

These guys'll tell you anything from theory to how to run a business. Some of the best in the trade post here.

Welcome, Zappy!
If you stick around, you'll turn from a "green" apprentice into a "whatever color electricians turn" one much faster than the fellows that don't pay much attention.
I learn things all the time from the greenest of guys, and I started the trade in '70. My learning curve took an abrupt spike in 2000, when I came here.
Please feel free to ask anything trade related question that you want.

The only dumb question is one that isn't asked.

I agree with all thats been said, I have been in about 21 years and all of a sudden my knowledge increased when I started hanging out here.

The members here will be glad to help you and are pretty nice to you when your mistaken.

We all make mistakes with this darn NEC and we can help each other out.

I've been a member of this forum for a few years now. I don't post topics often because more often than not, I always find an answer to what I'm looking for as we all seem to run into the same problems/questions/answers. I'll repeat what others did in this post, this is a great place to learn and there are some incredibly knowledgable electricans that frequent this site.
