Does anybody know if there is such a thing as 8/2 MC? I am installing a heater in my garage, run is about 150' faceplate amps is 24 so I was going to run #8 for VD. I was going to call the local supply house today, but I forgot and probably won't remember tomorrow... Plan B is some 3/4" flex w/ a box in the middle. Thanks

Yes, 8/2 may not be as available as 8/3 but you can get it.

I have run a lot of 4/0-4 MC (not by myself ) it is available in most all sizes below that.

Like iwire said you can get pretty much any size M/C cable you want. I had a guy today looking for 250mcm/al 4 wire M/C cable which is available but takes a few days to get it to Massachusetts. The 4/0-4 copper is available to us tomorrow. We stock 6/3 M/C and I believe we have 8/2 M/C.
