Yes. I like the funnel also, however make sure to first de-burr the ends of the pipe, so you don't have sharp edges when the ends get joined with a connector.

i like the idea of the funnel.an just fill the funnel up with wire pulling soap too.

The funnel seems to be an OK idea, but if you're just concerned about damaging the wire why not just put a connector on the conduit?

Looks like a good idea, I will have to remeber that when working by myself
