I recently bought a house and are having problems with it. We have lost 2 dryers, 1 computer, several light bulbs and a refrigerator in the 8 months since we moved in. The local utility company verified that the feed is consistent and correct.

Is there anything that can be done inside the house to verify that the voltage to the outlets is correct and consistent? If this isnt something I can do - I would like to know what to ask an electrician.

Thanks

Call an electrician. This is not a DIY site. They should probably look for issues with a loose or broken neutral.

How did the local utility verify the feed is consistent?

This can be a difficult problem to trace. You'll probably need an electrician who has access to equipment that can be left on site for a couple weeks to record the incoming voltage. Maybe your question should be about which electrician to call.

DDROWE:

As those above have said....call an electrician!
We are not being rude, but, DIY is not an allowed discussion here.
