I just came across these 4-inch RC remodel cans from WAC. They are LED and apparently IC rated, which makes them the first 4-inch IC rated remodel can I’ve ever seen. Anyone installed any of these yet? If so, how is the quality of light produced by the LED’s?

I can't seem to open the 'Instruction sheet' here at the office, nor could I open the spec from the WAC site.

I don't see any mention of UL or ??, are they approved/listed?

Yes, the spec sheet says UL and CUL listed. They also say they have dimming drivers with thermal protection.

What’s odd is that the product info page says to maintain 3-inch clearance from insulation for their Non-IC model, but then the spec sheet says that even the Non-IC model can also be completely covered with insulation, so I guess other than having the IC marking as required to comply with 410.116, it seems the actual IC rating may be more of a formality in this case.

Thanks. I opened the links at home.

Have to check on $$ at local WAC dealer(s). Hopefully, they have a display up & running.
