Does anyone out there certify pool bonding and grounding? If so, (Just out of curiosity) what kind of tester is used? I heard that there are several types of testers, but don't know which ones are used. Someone also told me that you need a length of #8 copper that is tested to show same exact resistance for each test. I also heard that the type of meter used puts out a small amount of voltage while it is being used for the test. Thanks!

LMAO
Seriously, a ground resistance tester (I believe that's the correct term for the device) is used by a few guys here.
IF I get a chance, I'll ask one of them
You could verify that there was some bonding going on with a VOM but that might not prove all the required attachments were done. You should see virtually zero ohms between all the exposed metal that is required to be bonded but I am not sure how you absolutely prove all the embedded steel was. That is why the visual inspection is so important before the concrete guy shows up.
