Does anyone know of, or use a form that is standard for residential electrical inspection for FHA or HUD loans. I was called to do a inspection on a house and the buyers are getting their loan thru FHA. I don't know if there is a certian form for this. Thanks in advance for any help.

Don W;
I'm not aware of any standardized forms, other than what is imposed locally.
Check out NFPA 73 , i think many 'walk thru' formats are based on it..

In Minnesota, the FHA has a standard form, and a set of minimum electrical standards. The form is called, simply, "Electrical Certification". Sometimes the minimum electrical standards are printed up on the back.

In the past, I've gotten the most current from the realtor involved, or, sometimes, the local authority (building department) has their own requirements and form that supercedes the FHA Electrical Certification.

HUD lists three home offices in your region. I've emailed a copy of that info, from their web site . Looks like you are in region V.
