What do you like??? Why???

Copper or Aluminum....
(bigger stuff, no #12 etc...)

There seems to be two distinct camps out there...

Cu here, but I will concede that Al is O.K. As I'm sure that you know, the only problem with Al is when you terminate it on a device, or make a joint. Being an inside wireman, to me copper is the only way to go. Just ask a lineman what he thinks, and I'm sure you will get a different story.

Wayne,
When tight bends are needed we use compact USE-AL.....it has a softer jacket and forms very easy, a huge difference from standard USE cable.

We only use AL on residential service entrance or some farm work. Never on commercial or industrial.
