Does anyone know how to get X-10 switches to work with GFI breakers. Is it possible? I have been using X-10 controls to have some fun with outdoor lighting but the GFI's will trip instantly. If I remove the X-10 switch the GFI will work fine

Thanks for your reply. after reading the article in Smarthome.com I still don't have an answer. I have tried to use GFI breakers on the X-10 circuit but they never work. The article says that they would. Still don't know what to do...

tsolanto - Unfortunately I can't be of much help to you with out seeing how you have things wired but I have used X-10 or = switches and transmitters on GFI circuits many times and have never had a problem. Does the GFI trip when you send a signal to the remote switch or when you manually turn the switch on or both?

caselec - which brand do you use. It trips as soon as I energize it.
