Can anyone suggest how the scott35 excel spreadsheet for single phase 120/240 could be modified to correctly calculate the load for a 120/208 panel? Also unsure of the use of abbreviations on the following columns: LTG, REC, MSC, BKR, LCL, BUS. Final question, would say a single phase compressor running at 208v and 24.4 amps be listed under columns A and B on the same row or on successive rows in order for the spreadsheet to correctly tabulate amperage?

CAB,

Is this 120/208 VAC panel a 3 phase 4 wire panel? If so, try the spreadsheet for that type of panel.

If the panel is 1 phase 3 wire @ 120/208, then simply edit the cell with the voltage reference and make it "208" instead of "240".
That "Basic" version of the spreadsheet will use the new voltage value for calcs.

The abbreviations are as follows:
  • LTG = Lighting,
  • REC = Receptacles,
  • MSC = Misc.,
  • BKR = Breaker (Trip rating and number of poles),
  • LCL = Long - Continuous Loads (AKA 3 hours or more). This shows the amount of LCL added to the circuits' in the schedule,
  • BUS = Bus bar which has the listed load or identified circuit. The bus which the breaker is landed to.


When listing the Volt-Amps for L-L loads, list this in both rows / columns as necessary - list the load VA in the cells for line A and line B per circuit position
(example: L-L compressor 10.0 amps @ 208 VAC 1 phase connected to CKTs. 1/3. CKT 1 position = "Compressor" in the description cell and "1040" in the cell for "A". Do the same for CKT 3, except place the "1040" in the cell for "B")
