I need to find an instrument to monitor and record the output of a 24vdc power supply for a continuos period of 10 hours or more. I need something that will capture everything down to a voltage drop or spike with a duration as as little as a split second. Is there something available out there for a price of say $400 or less? I don't care if I need to link it to a computer to make it work.

Does anyone have any experiance with these instruments? Will they detect something as minimal as a "flutter" in the voltage? Is it capable of capturing data this sensitive for several hours solid, preferably up to 10 hours?
Thanks

Joe,
We use a Fluke 43B.
Very nice, but it costs around $2,000.00.
