I am pricing out a fire alarm system for a sprinklered building. Where can I find out the info needed for the requirements?

Your applicable building code and NFPA 72.
Many local fire alarm vendors will lay one out for you.

ayrton,
If your company isn't certified to install fire alarm, I would sub it out to someone who is certified. Your company can install all the conduit stubs in the walls for the "pulls", "strobes", "audio/visual strobes", boxes for the "smokes", etc. Good luck.

Good advice from the doctor!

This is standard procedure for us for commercial construction. The only time I'll touch any F/A equipment is if it's something really simple like moving a smoke or pull-station.

Additional benefit is that you will know your exact cost going for F/A for bidding.

That is exactly what we do. In the area where I live, Simplex Fire Alarm Company is used quite a bit. All of their Technicians are certified.
