Anyone know if Mexico has any sort of regulations on power? And if so whats it called? Trying to find a reference to protection of Data cabling when running close to power. Can anyone help?

By regulations on power do you mean electrical code/wiring regulations? I did a google search and it appears that Mexico has adopted a spanish language version of the US NEC.

I've seen wiring devices manufactured in Mexico (Leviton) stamped with the NOM/ANCE seal (Normas Oficiales Mexicanas, or Official Mexican Standards).

ANCE stands for Asociación Nacional de Normalización y Certificación del Sector Eléctrico (National Association for Electrical Sector Normalisation and Certification).

Ditto electrical appliances made for sale in Canada/USA/Mexico, they're stamped with C-UL-US, CSA (sometimes) and NOM/ANCE.

I belive ANCE may also be in charge of wiring standards.
