Is there a way that I can create a Shortcut to put on my Desktop screen, that will send me straight to the ECN Intro page, instead of going to my Home page first?. [Linked Image]

Trumpy,
While you are viewing the page that you want the shorcut to point to, right click on that page, in the drop down menu that appears, click on the "create shortcut" tab.

An alternate method (though txsparky's sure is easy enough) [Linked Image]

While you have your browser such that you can see the browser and some of your desktop, click on the little icon that is just to the left of "http://" in the address bar where you see ECN's address. Then hold down the button and drag it to your desktop.

Then click on the shortcut you just created (to highlight it) and press the F2 key, and type in something such as "ECN" to rename it, if you want.

P. S. Do this from the main menu of ECN, or wherever it is you want to go each time you click on that shortcut.

You can also specify what your home page will be by changing it in "Tools - Internet Options" which is on the top of your browser's page. You should be able to see it right now by looking at the top line of this page. It is in the same line as file, edit, view, favorites, TOOLS, help.

This will allow you to go to ECN each and every time you open your internet browser.

Hey thanks for your help guys!. [Linked Image]
I just wanted to be able to access ECN without having to wait for the home Page to load, etc, this process seems to be taking longer and longer these days. [Linked Image]

Just a note on home pages. Mine is set to Google. It loads fairly quickly and, because of its size and diversity, it is utra reliable. If I open my browser and Google doesn't load, I know that either the whole internet is down (yea, right) or I'd better look for a problem on my end.

I just have www.electrical-contractor.net/forum set as the default. That will take you straight to the forum area list.
