Fellers I do not have a clue as to how we got from a lop in a j-box to running a DC current through an AC loop to making a magnet with coils of wire so lets start over here and keep it simple for meand if you all get to far out and leave me I am gonna start another loop post until I understand it LOL
If I take 3 wires # 12 thhn 1 being hot 1 being grounded conductor and 1 being a ground and make a circle with them then are u saying that possibly it is dangerous ?Now if I take same 3 wires and only make a circle with 1 or 2 of them does it make a difference ? W hat if I am running 2 hots and I neutral and a ground and loop them ?

We also need to specify that each wire has at most 60 Hz Ac 120 V nominal to ground, that the OCPD needs 40 A to trip, and that nothing but air is inside the circles.

I don't want to overcomplicate this. There is another factor that seems to matter...

What is the diameter of these circles? Are they all about 3 or 4" ovals?

If you are winding the wires around your finger into tight circles, that would make a difference compared to a single large loop.
