This splice was an old 3-wire dryer cord spliced to #6 SE in an 8-B box. This person even got the cover to fit without bulging.

I vote it a 9 on a 1-10 violation of T370-16

after all, if it's a 4" x 1 1/2" it's probably legal volume x 2
