I don't think that this will feed much power into the powerline... Some mighty tall kid must have put it there, figured you all would get a good laugh out of this picture. :-)

I'm guessing that someone saw this concept on a Roadrunner cartoon and thought it was a great idea.

Actually I've begun to notice a direct correlation between the wind blowing and the wind turbines spinning. It appears that whenever the blades are turning...it's windy. This proves my initial theory that the spinning blades are causing the wind; as opposed to the hairbrained Pickens idea that wind can make electricity.

Actually that might not be true. I like going to see wind turbines when I am near a place with them and in Minot ND I was watching the pair they have there. One suddenly was feathered and stopped. The other one was going at a pretty good clip. My guess is they keep the fossil plant going and trim the load with the wind generators because they can react faster.
We went on up the road to the state fair. When we were coming back they were both going again.
