I have a question regarding the wiring of an exhaust fan with an internal raceway inside the fan. If you lift the lid you see a raceway that gives you a chase down inside the ductwork. What type of wiring technique is permissible to enter ductwork below the roofline and be brought through the chaseway to the supplied disconnect?? Or is a pitchbox needed? Just trying to figure out what they are thinking with this chaseway. How have other members wired these exhaust fans.Thanks.
