150-200hp Westinghouse motor and control panel, circa 1968. It is still operating a skilift in western Canada.

24VDC combined with 120VAC control.
During power failures (rare, none in the 2002-03 season), a diesel auxilary drive engine (APU), can be started to run the lift on the 24VDC circuit with no loss of protection, or communication between the top and bottom stations.
