If you're talking about the company famous for their masonary hammer drills, no, they aren't American. The company is based in Lichtenstein(sp?). It's a small country about the size of Delaware located in Europe. I don't know about their screwdrivers. I attended a focus group they hosted in Las Vegas a couple of years ago. Quality products.
