I need some advice. A house that im doing has old seu attached to the porch where the drop also attaches. They want to tear down the porch and build a new one. I was thinking of extending the bare neutral and tying it off at the roof and then running new seu to the panel untill they build the new porch, which at that time I will change the service. When the new service is changed I will call the poco to change the drop. Is this the way you would do this? Any other ideas?
